Short documentary « Destruction.The realities of the Far East»

This video documentary by Illya Hoholev is dedicated to the almost dead miners’ town Ukrayinsk in Donbas region. «When you take a road from Luhansk to the west, a splendor of destroyed plants will come into viewcome to your glance. That’s true, Tthe ruins are almost in the downtown», - we hear the voice over at the beginning of the documentary. During the whole movie, the viewer can see the industrial ruins, ruins of the old historical buildings, neglected parks and yards. The documentary criticized the state policy, because «only in front of the presidential cortege, the Potemkin Villages (stands for the rich and prosperous households) emerge».
