Human Rrights Centre «Postup»

The organization has existed since 2000 (since 1998 as an informal group). It advocates for the rights and interests of vulnerable social groups’ advocacy. The main line of «Postup’s» activity for a long time has been the daily rehabilitation centre for “street children”. Since 2009 it coordinated the network of counselling offices for children of risk groups in Luhansk oblast as part of a project «Donbas Human Rights Child Network» (realized by Martin-club NGO). «Postup» participated in a number of human rights advocacy projects connected with “street children”, media censorship. The Centre was also a co-organiser of the 32nd of May Film Festival. In 2011, Human Rrights Centre «Postup» became a member of the Ukrainian Helsinki Human Rights Union. At different times the Centre’s team included Kostyantyn Reutskyi, Svitlana Tarabanova, Yuliya Krasilnikova, Olha Serheyeva, Oleksandra Dvoretska, Yaroslav Minkin.
