«The 5th wheel» – Festival Against Fascism and Xenophobia
Organized by a group of anarchists, the festival gathered 13 music bands from Yalta and Kharkiv. The Entrance fee was 3 UAH. «The festival has got sharp political context, and has been positioned as antifascist. We have been giving out the leaflets with a quote from Yegor Letov (underground poet and musician of Soviet times) “Fascists, fuck you!”» explaining that Letov has no connection with neo-Nazi movement. Skinheads were trying to attack the festival venue», – recollects Yaroslav Minkin, one of the organizers.
