"1/16 of a Tractor" Music Band

The band was created in 2004 in Luhansk. The first concert held on March 1, 2005 in the following list: Andrii Yakovenko – guitar, Bohdan Gerasimov – bass, Serhiy “Semion” Pivovarov – drums, Anton Makarevich – noise, Lera – saxophone. Lera left the band after the concert. Bass player changed after the second rehearsal. In 2006 the band was formed, which won the festival “Chervona Ruta” in nomination “another music” in 2007, becomes a frequent guest of Kharkiv and Luhansk clubs, releases the first demo-album “Tansevat mojno” ("Dancing allowed"), films the first clip to the song “Ruhy” (Andrii Yakovenko-guitar, Bogdan Gerasimov-guitar, Sergiy “Semion” Pivovarov-drums, Yurii “Keda” Kedenko-bass, Tamara Andreeva-vocals, Oleksii “Doctor” Bida-vocals, Maksim Abramov-guitar). “I participated in several rehearsals of the band in 2005. Made an electronic noise, substrate, began the experiments with the sound. I did not have a computer. I came to the rehearsals with a player and made some noises with it. One could say that I was an electronic musician, but not in that meaning, as it happened later. Now the band does not continue to play because of the several reasons. Andrii Yakovenko was always the leader of the “1/16 of a tractor”, he is known as Trofym Shagal in the internet. […] I do not know what it could spill into, but it was an interesting project. […] “1/16 of a tractor” were close to the psychedelic music, they had much of the “АукцЫон’у”. They were influenced by Luhansk band called “Мертвые груши” (Dead Pears). Music of this group made a plank in Luhansk, and it seems to me that they influenced just a few bands, which did not want to play simple pank-rock”, - Anton Lapov said. Anton Makarevych, Mykola “Filin” Gavriushenko and Oleksander “Kris” Bugaiev could be called as session musicians. Musical experiments of that time could be attributed to such a large concept as post-rock. Powerful guitar-part, emotional bass, jazz drums, usage of processors and spotting of electrical base create a unique style of the band. In 2009 Oleksii, Maksym, Tamara and Yurii left the band and the band “1/16 of a tractor” stops existing. To the further musical experiments of the band members belongs “1/16”.
