The La-la-la Show with guest Zakhar May
The Show was broadcasted at the Zhgut-TV Channel (in fact it was a YouTube channel). It is unknown if Slava Bo and Vova Chernykh knew what is meta-modernism in 2012, but it is absolutely clear is the fact that the show was created exactly in this paradigm. Short series duration of 1 – 3 minutes included interviews with famous people. The peculiarity of the show is playing on the border of irony, sarcasm and clownery. The show’s authors recorded interviews with those people for a one-hour duration, but only one silly question was asked in the middle of a serious talk that was included in the final version. Such a tactic served to unmask the hero of the show, and took them out of his or her comfort zone and demonstrated the true face. Another peculiarity is it pins towards the TV host Vova Chernykh from Slava Bo who stayed з off-screen. The show’s guest is Zakhar May. He is asked why he is not a leader of the Ruki Vverkh band (Hands Up – super sweet pop band of the late 90s in Russia, extremely popular in the whole post-Soviet space). Zakhar answers with strong arguments.
