The La-la-la Show with guest Yes Soya
The show was broadcasted on the Zhgut-TV Channel (in fact it was a YouTube channel). It is unknown if Slava Bo and Vova Chernykh knew what is meta-modernism in 2012, but it is absolutely clear fact that the show was created exactly in this paradigm. The short series duration of 1 – 3 minutes included interviews with famous people. The peculiarity of the show is playing on the border of irony, sarcasm and clownery. The show’s authors recorded interviews with those people for a one-hour duration, but only one silly question was asked in the middle of a serious talk that was included in the final version. Such a tactic served to unmask the hero of the show, and took them out of his or her comfort zone and demonstrated their true face. Another peculiarity is it pins towards the TV host Vova Chernykh from Slava Bo who stayed off-screen. The show’s guest in one episode is the poet Yes (Eugen) Soya. It starts off with questions by Vova Chernykh: “Why is soy more expensive than meet?” Trying to solve this postmodern rebus, Yes (Eugen) Soya answers: “Because soy is natural”.
