“Song for Halfpenny” Exhibition

The exhibition was held on March 6, 2012 in the hall of the Luhansk State Academy of Culture and Arts (at the time of the Luhansk State Institute of Culture and Arts) and presented works from the graphic series of the artist. Maria created the drawings in the period from late 2010 to 2012. "My characters are the story and the life that the characters live with their own mood and character. The image is born in my head instantly, the drawing takes about two hours, and to finish the character - a day or two. I hope the viewer will find it interesting. I'm not an artist, I'm just learning!" Maria says in an interview for the website of the Academy. The exhibition was devoted to English poetry of the absurd. In addition, continuing on the theme of British culture, the presentation was accompanied by music by a group of "Country Gardens."
