«Molodaya Gvardiya» («Young Guards»), from the documentary cycles «Luhanscshyna in Person»

The film is shot by a TV company at the order of the Luhansk Oblast Council. It tells the history of the rise and decline of the underground partisan organization in World War II “Molodaya Gvardiya”. The cycles “Luhanscshyna in Person” itself was created as part of the “Patriot Luhanscshyna” program and included along with “Molodaya Gvardiya” also such films as “Vladimir Dal”, “Kliment Voroshylov”, “Mikhail Matusovskyi”, “Vladimir Shevchenko”, “Aleksey Stakhanov”, “Alchevsky Family”, “Zaria – 72”. All these films told about the local heroes from the past and were intended to increase local patriotism. In total 12 films were made, and all of them tell about male-heroes. 500 copies of every film produced were handed to libraries and schools in Luhansk.
