"1/16" Music Band

In their works, Luhansk band "1/16" balances between Bristol 90's trip-hop and 2000s post-rock. Their music is melancholic, full of hypnotic energy musical canvas that lies under a whisper that mouths texts full of abstract symbol and all of the above alternates with tender female vocals. Band’s debut album "Pornozvezda" (pornstar) was recorded in May 2010, at the Austrian Internet label “Laridae”. After the release band gives concerts at venues in Kharkiv, Kyiv, Donetsk, Luhansk and on the alternative stage of the "Misterika" festival in Crimea. The band continues to work with the label “Laridae”- in summer of 2011 as a part of “The Seand” collection the live version of their song “Lapov set” will be released (description on Last.fm)
