«R-club»

R-club is located in a building of post Soviet trade center in one of the “sleeping districts” in Luhansk suburbs. Hairdressers, dry-cleaner and tailoring repairs are working in the building during the daylight. At night Luhansk rocks out the rock- crowd. This club is one of the brightest music spaces in the city. What the whole world called “underground” in Luhansk has been mainstream as far as all music scene has been concentrated around indie music in general and around post-punk, post-rock and ambient in particular. The music played in R-club was underground in underground. Death metal bands, antiorthodox parties, ska-bands that survived the sunset of the ska-epoch, cover parties on the ancestors of metal music – all these is R-club.
