Antiglobalistic Festival "The Clock-work Chop"

"The festival lasted two days, from 17 to 19 October, and took place in two locations. At HerStal quarter they painted “mural” (graffiti) on the wall and photo exhibition and film screenings took place in Regional Library. Mural was the first in Lugansk. The access to the library on the second day was prohibited – they just closed the door and said that library is not open today. The point is that we concealed the theme of the festival a little bit, when we were making agreement regarding exhibition premises. Not that it was some kind of a scandal, but a library commonly helds student exhibitions with names like "Our Melodious Land ". In short, we agreed on the matter somehow, and thank God festival lasted two days, not three because at the end of the second day we showed Lars von Trier's movie "Idiots" where there is a group sex scene "- recalls the artist and host of “What” festival. "The only way to prevent spiritual regression, depersonalization and the cult of consumption is to make a cultural revolution, the driving force of which is a real art. That is why a number of young artists, photographers, and writers concerned with the problems of modern society, decided to hold a protest against the negative effects of globalization! Their weapon is creativity, their goal is the cultural revolution! "- manifests the commentary to the event in Vk group vk.com/club5073025
