“The Black Olympus” Interactive Installation

The project “The Black Olympus” is an artistic archive of videos, photographs, archeological objects and canvas. Most of the materials were gathered during the expedition on 7th of December, 2013 on one of the active slagheaps near Krasnodon in Luhansk oblast. During the expedition the artists were documenting the experience of interaction with the slagheaps. After that the material was shown as one installation at the festival of the electronic disciplines “Zavtra” in Luhansk. This project has appeared because of the dissatisfaction with the cultural situation in the city and proposed a new way of the development through reconsideration of the industrial experience of the region.
