“Searching for a New Aster” Series of Paintings
“Searching for a New Aster” – is a series of five abstract paintings of artist Yevhen Koroletov, which were painted during 2012. Using tempera, gouache and acrylic, he turns to the subject of the defeated Soviet avant-garde "sun" and trying to find something new in return. Each of the paintings are added with a photo where it is placed in some context. Paintings were always placed in the separate room of the artist’s apartment.
